We are seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Traffic Control Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating traffic management devices and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow around construction sites. Your expertise will help maintain a secure work environment, facilitate smooth construction operations, and protect both workers and the public. Responsibilities
Operate traffic management devices such as portable message signs, cones, barrels, and flagging equipment to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction zones.
Traffic Control experience is PREFERED
Assist with the setup and removal of traffic control devices in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
Maintain clear communication with team members and site supervisors to coordinate traffic control activities effectively.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently to prevent accidents or disruptions on site.
Qualifications
Knowledge of traffic control procedures and safety standards applicable to construction sites.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is a plus.
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
