Job Description

Staff Product Manager - Care Application Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager - Care Application Platform based in United States.

This is a Staff-level product leadership opportunity focused on shaping an AI-native platform for clinical and care teams.
You’ll define the vision and roadmap for tools that help practitioners deliver higher-quality care with less administrative friction.
The role sits at the intersection of clinical workflows, care operations, platform infrastructure, and applied AI.
You’ll determine where AI should automate, augment, delegate, or remain human-led based on value, risk, and operational realities.
Working across Product, Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Data, Security, Legal, and Clinical teams, you’ll create scalable capabilities that can serve multiple care environments.
You’ll establish the frameworks needed to make AI-enabled workflows safe, reliable, measurable, and trusted.
This role is ideal for a strategic, technically fluent product leader who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape products with meaningful real-world impact.

Accountabilities
  • Define the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for AI-native clinical and care tools within the care application platform.
  • Reimagine practitioner workflows through intelligent assistance, summarization, task orchestration, recommendations, documentation, and AI-agent-supported execution.
  • Evaluate which workflows should be automated, augmented, delegated to AI agents, or remain human-led, balancing user value, clinical risk, safety, and operational constraints.
  • Partner closely with clinicians, care operators, Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Data, Legal, Security, Compliance, and senior product stakeholders to develop trustworthy and reusable capabilities.
  • Establish evaluation, monitoring, human-oversight, and launch frameworks for AI-enabled experiences, covering quality, safety, reliability, adoption, and workflow outcomes.
  • Lead products from discovery through launch and continuous iteration, using research, analytics, and real-world feedback to improve adoption and outcomes.
  • Build alignment across teams and translate fragmented practitioner needs and complex operational challenges into a coherent product strategy.
  • Make strategic tradeoffs between platform leverage, scalability, technical investment, and near-term product delivery.
  • Drive product decisions in ambiguous environments and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries without relying on direct authority.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience leading complex product, platform, or technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and launching AI-enabled, automation, workflow, or platform products for clinicians, care teams, expert users, or operational teams.
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to partner effectively with Engineering teams on data, APIs, architecture, integrations, reliability, observability, permissions, security, and cost considerations.
  • Experience working in clinical care, healthcare operations, or another high-stakes environment where privacy, compliance, auditability, safety, and human oversight are critical.
  • Proven experience developing reusable platform capabilities that support multiple products, workflows, teams, or service lines, ideally within a startup or scaling organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking and product judgment, with the ability to connect user needs, business objectives, technical possibilities, and operational constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build alignment among diverse stakeholders, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, establishing direction where requirements are evolving, and translating uncertainty into actionable strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI product development, including appropriate human oversight, evaluation, monitoring, safety, and trust considerations.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual base salary of $163,000–$277,704, with the actual offer determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
  • Equity and additional benefits as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Opportunity to work remotely in a remote-first environment.
  • 401(k) savings plan through Fidelity.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options.
  • Disability insurance.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
  • 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave.
  • Family-building benefits, including fertility coverage and up to $25,000 for surrogacy or adoption.
  • Paid and compassionate leave supporting qualifying fertility treatments, adoption, or pregnancy-related circumstances.
  • Work-from-home reimbursement to support a productive remote working environment.
  • Opportunity to shape AI-native healthcare products at Staff-level scope with significant cross-functional influence and strategic ownership.
