Job Description

Head of Product, AI Business Intelligence

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product, AI Business Intelligence based in the United States.

This is a high-impact, 0-to-1 product leadership opportunity focused on building an AI-native business intelligence platform for the multifamily real estate market.
You will own the product line end to end, from customer discovery and positioning through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, including prototyping, workflow design, specifications, and rapid iteration.
You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data, sales, and customer-facing teams to turn complex customer needs into intuitive AI-powered experiences.
A major focus will be defining how AI should be integrated into the product while ensuring outputs are accurate, explainable, safe, and trustworthy.
You’ll establish strong customer feedback and evaluation loops, using real-world signals to prioritize the roadmap and continuously improve product quality.
This is an ideal opportunity for a highly entrepreneurial product builder who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into products customers genuinely use.

Accountabilities
  • Own the AI Business Intelligence product line from discovery, positioning, and roadmap development through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Define where AI and language models create meaningful customer value and where traditional product experiences are more appropriate, ensuring the platform is genuinely AI-native rather than simply adding AI to existing reporting.
  • Conduct customer discovery, market research, and regular feedback sessions with operators, asset managers, ownership groups, and other key customers to identify needs and prioritize product opportunities.
  • Translate customer insights and business objectives into clear product direction, specifications, workflows, prototypes, user stories, and actionable roadmaps.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and product leadership to rapidly build, test, and ship new AI-powered functionality.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks, quality metrics, test suites, and feedback loops to measure AI output quality, identify edge cases, and continuously improve product performance.
  • Establish and validate guardrails that ensure AI-generated outputs are reliable, explainable, safe, and trustworthy for customers making financially significant decisions.
  • Shape the underlying data foundation, including data requirements, normalization, architecture, and the capabilities needed to answer increasingly complex business questions.
  • Build structured customer feedback loops and use qualitative and quantitative signals to make focused, evidence-based prioritization decisions.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and other product teams to drive successful launches, adoption, and customer value.
  • Promote a user-centered product culture and contribute wherever needed to accelerate delivery, solve problems, and move the product forward.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of product management experience within a high-growth startup or technology company, including ownership of at least one product from 0-to-1 through launch and adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and ship products that customers actively use, with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes rather than roadmap development alone.
  • Strong product judgment, design sensibility, and the ability to turn ambiguous customer needs into simple, compelling product experiences.
  • Proven experience leading customer discovery and synthesizing qualitative feedback into clear product strategy, priorities, and decisions.
  • Experience defining quality metrics, evaluation frameworks, testing processes, or feedback loops and using performance data to improve products.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI-powered products, or modern AI development tools, combined with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong understanding of AI product development, including model behavior, evaluation, guardrails, reliability, and user trust.
  • A builder mentality with a demonstrated bias toward action, experimentation, rapid prototyping, and iterative delivery.
  • Experience with business intelligence, analytics, or data platforms is beneficial, particularly when combined with an understanding of how AI-native products differ from traditional BI solutions.
  • Experience in PropTech, multifamily housing, real estate, or related industries is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, sales, customer success, and executive stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and take ownership of outcomes in a fast-growing organization.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not currently available.
Benefits
  • Remote-first working environment with the flexibility to work from home across most of the United States.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience, expertise, and impact.
  • Flexible vacation policy and dedicated paid parental leave.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families.
  • 100% company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance.
  • Supplemental insurance options, including coverage designed to support pets.
  • 401(k) program to support long-term financial planning.
  • High-energy in-person company offsites designed to strengthen collaboration, connection, and team culture.
  • Opportunity to work on a high-growth, AI-focused product with substantial 0-to-1 ownership and influence.
  • Close collaboration with product, engineering, design, data, sales, and customer-facing leadership teams.
  • Opportunity to shape an emerging AI-native category and build products that directly influence how customers make business decisions.
