Job Description
Position Summary
This candidate reports to the Rental Shop Supervisor and is responsible for educating and fitting rental equipment while providing excellent customer service. Must adhere to, and enforce Sunrise Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures, and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff.
Essential Duties
- Ensure safe and correct sizing of all rental equipment including large group rentals
- Provide a high level of front-line customer service including greeting and engaging participants
- Communicate with participants in regard to lesson opportunities and accident prevention
- Ensure all equipment inventories are accurate and accounted for at the end of the day
- Sanitize boots and helmets’
- Regular maintenance of rental equipment e.g. Waxing
- Inspect and report any safety concerns about the rental equipment to immediate supervisor
- Inform rental technician of tools, parts or materials that are required
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner (e.g. accident reports, opening and closing procedures, group rental set ups)
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace ensuring equipment is set-up and stored appropriately
- Report all concerns, accidents, and incidents to immediate supervisor for follow up and take appropriate action
- Maintain an understanding of department programs and services
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce Sunrise Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
- Attend meetings/training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

ABOUT SUNRISE PARK RESORT:
Sunrise Park Resort is a wholly owned and operated tribal entity of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and is located in Greer, Arizona. Sunrise is Arizona’s premier mountain resort destination. Elevation – 9,200 feet above sea level.
TRIBAL HIRING PREFERENCE:
Sunrise Park Resort applies the White Mountain Apache Tribe’s preference policy. Preference in hiring will be given to qualified candidates who are enrolled tribal members in the White Mountain Apache Tribe or enrolled in other federally recognized tribes.
SUNRISE POLICY:
Sunrise maintains a drug and alcohol-free work environment. Drugs include marijuana and prescription drugs that are not prescribed to the employee or that are not used in accordance with prescribing standards. Employees are prohibited from possessing, selling, supplying, using, or manufacturing drugs or alcohol on Sunrise property. Additionally, employees are prohibited from being under the influence of or impaired by drugs or alcohol while on or using Sunrise property. Sunrise conducts drug and alcohol tests for various reasons, including pre-employment, random, to determine the cause of an accident or injury, and reasonable suspicion. Employees must comply with the drug and alcohol tests when requested by management or HR.
Due to the intensified risk and liability of the Resort, Sunrise has a Zero tolerance policy in place in all areas that present potential danger/death to employees or guests. Activities that present the most potential for danger/death include, but are not limited to: climbing towers, driving equipment or vehicles, maintaining or servicing lifts, or involvement in any kind of maintenance.
Requirements:Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
- Must be willing to work on Weekends and Holidays.
- Must be able communicate effectively, (verbally and electronically)
