National Operations Coordinator - Field Service Onboarding Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Operations Coordinator - Field Service Onboarding Specialist based in United States.

This remote role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end onboarding for field service technicians and service vendors across the United States.
You will ensure new team members have the equipment, technology, system access, training logistics, and administrative support needed to become operational from day one.
The position serves as a central coordination point between field personnel, leadership, IT, operations, and external partners.
You will manage multiple onboarding activities simultaneously while maintaining accurate records, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
The role also offers opportunities to improve processes, strengthen operational consistency, and create a more efficient onboarding experience nationwide.
Success requires strong organization, follow-through, communication, and the ability to navigate multiple systems and priorities.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and execute end-to-end onboarding activities for field service new hires across the United States, ensuring each employee is fully prepared and operational from their first day.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics and act as a central point of contact for field personnel, leadership, internal departments, and external partners.
  • Coordinate company vehicle assignments, including vehicle orders, transfers, and rental arrangements when required.
  • Arrange procurement and setup of laptops, mobile devices, technical equipment, and other technology required for field service employees.
  • Coordinate the timely distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), technical toolkits, and other necessary resources.
  • Facilitate setup and activation of business-critical system access, including Salesforce, SAP, Power Apps, Outlook, and other platforms.
  • Monitor access requests and IT tickets through completion, helping new hires resolve onboarding-related technology issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for training, including flights, hotels, and transportation as needed.
  • Partner with field service management to align onboarding schedules, training requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records, trackers, documentation, and status updates throughout the process.
  • Follow established national operations policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistent onboarding execution.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding onboarding progress, outstanding requirements, risks, and deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall experience for new field service employees.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of more effective national onboarding practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date no later than December 31, 2027.
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative operations, onboarding coordination, field service support, operations coordination, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple activities, stakeholders, resources, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow processes consistently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and collaborate effectively with field employees, leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills, particularly when resolving system access, equipment, travel, or onboarding issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
  • Comfortable working across multiple business systems and learning new technologies, processes, and workflows quickly.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Power Apps, Outlook, or comparable platforms is valuable.
  • Familiarity with field service operations, employee onboarding, equipment provisioning, travel coordination, or workforce administration is an advantage.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee and operational information responsibly and in accordance with applicable policies and requirements.
  • Willingness to participate in video and/or in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $84,000–$123,000 USD annually, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, qualifications, market conditions, and business considerations.
