Position Overview

The Client Care Representative is responsible for providing support to the individuals who are enrolled in outpatient, referrals, as well as the medical and clinical associates. The responsibilities include scheduling appointments, completing prior authorizations, collecting co-pays or private pay agreements and preparing documentation for intakes and annual releases. Client Care Representatives will also support the medical staff by collecting vital signs from individuals during a medication checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually model and uphold the high standards of quality customer satisfaction including building positive rapport with parents, clients and referral sources.
  • Collect and input all necessary client demographic and insurance information in ENRG for all referrals.
  • Submit a benefit check to Community Programs Patient Accounts associates.
  • Confirming client’s insurance information during reminder calls or when checking a client in.
  • Schedule and re-schedule all appointments once benefits have been confirmed.
  • Prepare and send out coordination documentation to primary care physicians upon admission, discharge and for any medication class changes.
  • Complete and submit all medication prior authorization requests.
  • Complete and submit any pre-certification or registration as needed.
  • Prepare and complete with the client all intake documentation.
  • Prepare and complete all necessary Releases of Information including tracking when individuals turn 14 years of age.
  • Collect height, weight and blood pressure for individuals attending prescriber appointments.
  • Ensure reminder calls and all charts are up-to-date for prescriber appointments.
  • Must be able to recognize the accurate priority level of each concern and address them accordingly.
  • Must document each interaction with clients and or their family member (s) in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the Human Services field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
