POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Functions as a computer hardware equipment technician to include the repair and installation of personal computers, thin clients, printers, , tablets desktop, mobile phones and other computer related equipment. Provides support and configuration to mobile and desktop phones and devices.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school graduation or its equivalent is required. Completion of a specialized electronics/computer related course(s) is required. Associate’s degree in Information technology/electronics is preferred. One year’s experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair is preferred. . Experience in UH internships may be considered and approved by the CIO in substitute of on-the-job experience. One year’s experience with Windows 10, Apple Products, and Microsoft office products is required. A+ Certification and two year’s experience in terminal, printer and personal computer repair is preferred.
