JOB SUMMARY
- To ensure file maintenance by promptly and accurately filing patient Radiology folders. To facilitate the smooth operation of the department by transcribing reports, memorandums, departmental papers, distributing reports to the proper stations, assisting the secretarial staff, demonstrating a caring attitude by practicing guest relations, promoting a professional and cooperative work environment and staying abreast of changes by attending in-service programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Business or technical school training preferred.

Skills:
- Experience as a secretary and/or transcriptionist in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
- On the job training will be conducted.
