This position is responsible for many Human Resources and Facilities administrative functions. This position oversees all building-related activities and works closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and management team regarding the maintenance of the building’s interior appearance, ensuring all facilities are well functioning, cleaned appropriately by our outside vendors and all supplies for the office and break rooms are well stocked on a regular basis. Ensuring that all equipment and workspaces are set for new hires and employees to perform job responsibilities is a key function of this role. The shipping and receiving areas and common workspaces are the responsibility of this position. The goal is to ensure our Corporate Office is always running smoothly and presentable to customers and visitors.
Additionally, this position is an integral part of the Human Resources team. This position, in conjunction with the HR management team, is responsible for ensuring the data integrity of the HRIS system by entry of l employee changes, new hires, transfers, etc., and ensuring all information is entered accurately and completely at other company facilities. This position supports a variety of administrative Human Resources functions throughout the company, maintains employee files for the Non- Alabama employees, assists in onboarding, recruiting and facilitates employee activities internally and out in the community. This position will interact frequently with all levels of Exxel Outdoors employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
HR support
- Assists with onboarding new hires by sending new hire the ADP email with the link to the ADP Onboarding process, organizing, and cleaning the workstation, putting up name card, generating access cards, providing training and introduction to office programs and protocols, including ADP and Concur; and distributing welcome gear.
- Creates and maintains HR files on a weekly basis while securing associates’ personal data and ensures the destruction of files in a timely manner (seven years).
- Maintains and ensures the accuracy and completeness of the employee data and file in the HRIS.
- Enters new hire personal information: completely and accurately, benefit information, associate changes, and terminations into the ADP HRIS and notifying the affected department.
- Maintains all employees’ files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensures all employees turn in performance reviews, Objectives and Bonus plans in a timely fashion.
- Creates the performance Spreadsheets and ensures 90-day. performance reviews are represented on the review spreadsheet.
- Assist with maintaining employee, I9, EEOC files and ensure current.
- Runs E-Verify on new hires.
- Runs background screens and references on applicants.
- Assists with interviews, scheduling/coordination.
- Assists with coordinating and supporting company activities.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating the employee activities committee (Happy Camper Club), and ensuring timely communication and calendar items, inclusive of monthly activity calendars
A collaborative, open space work environment located on the first of the 40,000 sq. foot facility located in Broomfield, Colorado. The workspace is in the Lobby area facing north and looks at the main company staircase in the lobby. There is a large screen TV on the wall behind the desk as well as speakers in the lobby to produce calm music in our concept office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary range for the Human Resources & Facilities position is $22.00-$23.50/hour based on education and prior experience.
