Database Administrator at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: The Database Administrator will work under the direction of the DirectorI.T. Applications. Using specific instructions and established procedures the Database Administrator will participate in design, implementation, and maintenance of various database and reporting products. This position will work with various project teams and stakeholders both internal and external in the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of 3rd party software products that require database support; and in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internally developed database, data warehouse, data mart, and reporting solutions.

EXPERIENCE: Two to three years experience with MSSQL and/or Oracle database administration using both the RDBMS and TSQL/PLSQL.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Effective verbal and written communication skills, experience with Windows servers, and Microsoft Active Directory security processes.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), SQL Server Certification

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Computer Science
