Facilities Technician I at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• The Facilities department at CRH services all the support and infrastructure systems at our main hospital campus and outlying physicians practices, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety systems and general building upkeep.
• The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and serve the environment and immediate needs of the facility to include, but not limited to, parts ordering and inventory control for department moving equipment/records and completing exterior refurbish route.
• This position performs a variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance, as well as inspections, servicing and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the hospital.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $21.89. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. Updated Night Shift pay differential
• The shift for this position will be 11:00PM – 7:00AM; Sunday through Thursday, with a weekend and holiday (every 3rd) rotation.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

• Upon hire, you must have:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• Position requires a valid Indiana Driver’s license and must meet the hospital’s liability insurance carrier requirements.
