About This Position

The 340B Program Auditor is responsible for conducting audits, reviews, analyses and other compliance or auditing related duties for the RMC 340B program. This position monitors flow of data form all technical sources, updates drug information, and generates reports for the compliance team, administration, finance, and the Director of Pharmacy.

Participates in the development and implementation of reports generated on the 340B program that outline savings, utilization, exceptions, and discrepancies.
Ensures appropriate documentation and audit trail across of responsibility.
Communicates relevant information pertaining to reviews and audits of RMC 340B program, including audit process, findings, results, etc.
Serves as the point person and coordinator of all reviews and audits. coordinates all responses to request for information concerning the RMC 340B Program from both internal and external sources.
Reviews and amends current processes to conform to current laws, regulations, and/or guidelines applicable to the 340B program.
Evaluates patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified status in hospital-based mixed-use areas and clinics by reviewing patient medical records, insurance plans, and hospital status.
Conducts regular, recurring-reviews and/or audits of all 340B.
Performs 340B purchasing and utilization audits or compliance assessments internally, as needed.
Routinely audits all aspects of the RMC 340B programs to ensure compliance with regulations related to 340B purchasing.

Bachelor's degree required; healthcare-related field, business management (finance, accounting, or information technology preferred); suitable work experience may substitute, certified pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
Certifications preferred (e.g. 340B Apexus Certification)
Eligible for any appropriate state registration, certifications, or licenses needed for job.

2 years healthcare experience preferred
Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge with auditing data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions preferred.
1-2 years 340B Program experience (including both split-billing and contract pharmacy) required and 340B integrated solutions experience preferred (e.g., Sentry Data Systems, Macro Helix, etc.)
Experience with multiple sites, EHRs, or pharmacy systems preferred.
