About This Position
The individual in this position will be responsible for the primary accounting and reporting responsibilities at Chicago Skyway, including procedures to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close such as preparing financial statements, reporting packages, and maintaining the general ledger.
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the AP Analyst and work collaboratively with the Financial Analyst, Operations, and Toll Collection to complete Toll Auditing procedures. Training, support, and continuing professional education are to be provided.
In this role, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in analyzing financial data and identifying trends. Attention to detail and accuracy will ensure the integrity of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics, Office, Excel, and Outlook software.
- 5+ years working in a corporate accounting environment with responsibility for monthly close and general ledger maintenance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA designation preferred, but not required
- Solid understanding of consolidation and financial statement preparation
- Experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics, Office, Excel, and Outlook software
- Excellent problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
