Marketing Designer at Strawbridge Studios Inc – Durham, North Carolina

Overview:

Strawbridge Studios, Inc. is looking to hire a designer to work within our Marketing Department. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, has industry experience, has experience with Adobe CC Suite and will be looking to grow within an organization that is constantly developing and evolving. Our new designer must be punctual, be able to work as an individual as well as part of a team and be able to adhere to project deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

We have immediate openings to be filled by qualified individuals to work beginning at 8am, Monday-Friday. Pay will be hourly and will be determined by Management upon hiring. To qualify for this job, you must be able to work full-time, 40+ hours a week. More hours are available if/when approved by management.

Educational Requirement:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field required

Qualifications:

• Must have 1-2 years of intern or professional experience in Graphic Design (print and web)
• 1 year of Marketing experience
• 1 year of Google Analytics and SEO experience
• Experience with Adobe CC Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects across different mediums
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to self-proof and self-correct own mistakes
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with management and other team members
• Must be able to prioritize and manage the workflow of multiple projects
• Be flexible and willing to adapt to help meet the needs the company
• Be respectful of others and have a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Design sales, marketing and advertising materials and additional advertising for field employees, clients, and customers
• Manage and update WordPress based website, as necessary.
• Create Google Analytics reports and continually provide solutions to increasing online presence
