Position Overview:

Modern Mill is seeking an Architectural Representative to serve the Northeast Region, reporting directly to the Sales Director. This role is vital in driving specifications for ACRE into projects, expanding our market presence, and ensuring ACRE is at the forefront of sustainable building solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative materials and a proven ability to connect with the architecture and design community.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Specifications and Sales Growth:

• Promote and specify ACRE as the preferred material for architectural and design projects.

• Work closely with architects, specifiers, and designers to educate them about ACRE's benefits, applications, and sustainability story.

• Proactively identify and develop new projects, building a robust pipeline of opportunities that will be supported by our field sales and technical product teams.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the architecture and design community.

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical support, material samples, and design resources.

Technical Expertise and Product Education:

• Deliver compelling presentations and CEU (Continuing Education Unit) courses on ACRE's features, benefits, and applications.

• Offer technical support and guidance to ensure proper specification and installation of ACRE products.

Market Insights and Reporting:

• Stay current on industry trends, design preferences, and competitive products.

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, tracking interactions, opportunities, and project specifications.

Event and Network Participation:

• Represent Modern Mill at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.

• Host and participate in lunch-and-learn sessions and other promotional events.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in architectural sales or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of the architecture, design, or construction industries.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to travel regionally as needed.

Preferred:

• Experience working with sustainable or innovative building materials.

• Familiarity with specifying materials for projects in the residential and commercial sectors.

• Existing relationships with architects, designers, or specifiers in the Northeast Region.
