We are filling 2 positions!
Limited Duration Full Time Office Assistant 2 with benefits with work up to June 2026. May end earlier.
Regular Full Time Office Assistant 2 with benefits.
These are grant funded positions. Continued employment is contingent upon job performance/evaluation, continued funding of the program and other appropriate County procedures.

How to be Successful in the Role:
Bring in your customer service and modern administrative practices along with a “can do” approach and you will thrive in this role. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with audiences of various social, cultural, ethnic, educational and economic backgrounds and maintain professionalism the public and fellow employees, even in stressful and unpleasant situations. Multi taskers, those with a high level of computer savvy, and quick learners will be successful in this environment. Must be reliable as well as have an attention to detail to produce accurate work.

Core Daily Responsibilities:
• Process incoming applications for completeness
• Utilize the databases associated with the program and enter client information
• Communicate with clients about application status and next steps.
• Prepare and distribute client notices
• Work effectively within the team and provide support for the team as needed.
• Provide general receptionist duties.

Recruiting Requirements:
- One year of general office experience
- Additional education or related experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of working with people experiencing poverty preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion.
