Banquet Bartender at SUMMIT CORPORATION – Tulsa, Oklahoma

Who You Are:

An integral member of the banquet service team, the Banquet Bartender is a knowledgeable and hospitality-driven professional responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, serving beverages efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests at private events, receptions, and large-scale functions. The Banquet Bartender must have a solid understanding of classic and specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits while ensuring smooth beverage service at events. This role requires adaptability, efficiency, and professionalism in a fast-paced banquet environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Consistently support a culture of exceptional service and hospitality.
• Demonstrate general bartending expertise while maintaining speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, creating a hospitable and inviting bar experience.
• Anticipate member and guest needs while managing multiple orders in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with banquet staff, management, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
• Demonstrate an eagerness to continue learning and growing.
• Perform additional responsibilities and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success.

What We Need From You:

• 3+ years’ experience as a bartender in a restaurant, banquet, or event setting preferred.
• Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Strong ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced banquet environments.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks, and/or glasses, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
