Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.

The Certified Nurse Assistance assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care which supports and complements nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA carries out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.

Joining our skilled nursing unit is an excellent opportunity to begin your nursing career, where you'll learn to care for patients recovering from infections, strokes and post-operative CABG and orthopedic patients. We work alongside therapies to help the patient regain their strength for a safer discharge. An average patient stay is 7-9 days.

Our unit offers a calmer work environment due to more limited admissions and discharges as compared to acute floors, making it an ideal place to build your clinical skills.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• Requires excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Annual influenza vaccine is required.
