GENERAL SUMMARY

• The Manager, Respiratory Care Services, is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the Respiratory Care Services operations and staff. This position is responsible for promoting and ensuring high quality, customer responsive respiratory care services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or the equivalent in training and experience. Graduation from an allied health program is required (Respiratory Therapy).
• Required Length and Type of Experience
  • Seven plus years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required.
  • Multi-site supervision is preferred. Incumbent must have delegation, planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven skill in positive relationship building with physicians and management required.
• Required Licensure or Certification
  • Certification or registry in the allied health specialty field is required (RRT, LRCP).
• Required Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Required to know and demonstrate competency in all OSHA requirements for the position, such as use of personal protective equipment, safety equipment and procedures, handling of hazardous materials, etc.
  • Must be able to walk or stand during scheduled hours of work.
  • Required to be aware of all MSDS considerations which identifies all items in their area.
