About This Position
This job consists primarily of doing the "little things" which help make our therapists more efficient, such as wiping off treatment tables after patient use, stocking clean linens, bagging dirty linens, cleaning pediatric toys after patient use, setting up speech therapy rooms for feeding treatments, checking and recording equipment temperatures, and generally assisting therapists as needed. The traditional work shift will be M-F, day shift, with varying hours between 8am and 6pm depending on the patient's schedule. This internship is believed to be a best fit for a student studying physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. Specific license and/or certification may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above Submission of Cover Letter Resume and Letter of Recommendation. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
