AFTER CARE AIDE (Part-time 3pm to 6pm) in Hollywood, Florida at Sheridan Hills Christian School

Purpose Statement:

This position is responsible for monitoring students at Sheridan Hills Christian School. The aide will care for students as required by the curriculum objectives established by Sheridan Hills Christian School. The specific focus of this role is to provide quality instruction with a biblical perspective.

Personal Qualifications:

A born-again believer with a testimony of salvation by receiving Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord. An active member in good standing at a Bible-believing church. Public and private life that demonstrates Biblical qualities of a Christian role model at home, work, and in the community. Practice principles of Christian growth including prayer, study, witnessing, and discipleship. Physical and mental characteristics to perform the job description and dutiesCandidates must be able to resolve conflicts with children and parentspossess the ability to be firm but friendly, and must be able to be courteous and professional when dealing with parents, children, and other co-workers. Follows proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures Monitors students. Observes who enters and leaves the child care area. Assists students with homework. Passes out snacks. Plays with students on the playground. Tutors and assists students with homework. Resolves conflicts with children and parents. •MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED**
