Minimum Qualifications:

- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory planning, and forecasting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage purchase orders and implement cost reduction strategies effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional).
- Experience in the finance and insurance industry or a related sector.
- Familiarity with advanced procurement software and ERP systems.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to meet organizational goals and reduce procurement costs.
- Manage competitive bidding processes to select and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with inventory and material planning teams to align procurement activities with demand forecasts and inventory plans.
- Lead supply chain management initiatives to improve supplier performance, delivery reliability, and inventory turnover.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to purchasing activities.
- Mentor and develop the purchasing team to enhance skills and maintain high performance standards.
