Children's Personal Care Aide at Axcess Healthcare Services – Anderson, South Carolina

Who we are
Axcess is a home care provider that services children with special needs and disabilities across the state of South Carolina. We are contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide care to children who qualify for aide services. We are hiring for multiple children across the state so please be sure to check all our listings.

What we do
Our goal is to provide compassionate care to children while giving parents piece of mind during your visit. One of the main tasks as a Children's Personal Care Aide is SUPERVISION. Each child is unique in the activities they need assistance with but may include:
~bathing~dressing~grooming~diaper changing~transferring~meal prep~feeding~school work~accompanying parents to appointments and therapies
As a Children's Personal Care Aide, you may also be required to assist with light housekeeping and laundry as well. This service is aimed to help the child and the parents/guardians.

What we are looking for
We currently have a client in Anderson that is needing help Monday-Friday from 3:30p0-8p. This client is a 15yr old female needing assistance/reminders for toileting hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep and supervision. One cat in the home.

Qualifications
To be qualified as a Children's Personal Care Aide you must:

1. Be at least 18 years of age
2. Pass a background (SLED) check
3. Pass a drug test
4. Be physically able to provide care to a child with special needs
5. Have a valid drivers license and insured transportation
