Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Chemist to support the production of veterinary products. This role involves assisting with chemical synthesis and purification processes while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate has a background in chemistry and is eager to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in chemical synthesis and purification of raw materials, intermediates, and final products
• Support lab operations, including cleaning glassware and preparing equipment
• Maintain accurate batch records and documentation
• Work with the team to set up and transition production areas
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Learn and assist with operating specialized equipment such as gloveboxes or Schlenk lines
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• 1+ years of hands-on lab or production experience required
• 1+ years of industry organic synthesis experience in a air-free manipulation and storage (i.e. Schlenk line and inert atmosphere glovebox).
• Ability to follow and interpret technical protocols, SOPs and safety protocols
• Willingness to learn new equipment and procedures
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
