Essential Functions:

• Assures adherence to the N.J. Division of Mental Health and Hospital’s regulations governing Screening Centers and JCAHO requirements. Develops Standards of Care to ensure appropriateness of service delivery.
• Responsible for assuring the submission of State and County statistical reports and assists in the preparation of State and County grant contracts.
• Responsible for consultation and education services to the County as related to the Screening Center.
• Responsible for the coordination and administration of the 24 hour, 7 day per week County Screening Center and Clara Maass Medical Center Emergency Services operations. Provides direct services as deemed necessary and appropriate.
• Participates in the following Committee: Systems Review Committee, Department of Psychiatry Steering Committee and Community based committees.
