About This Position

Position Description:

Do you have a passion for safety, supervision, and supporting individuals in a structured environment? We are seeking a Residential Services Coordinator II Transport to join our team and play a critical role in safely transporting individuals served to off-site locations while providing supervision, engagement, and accountability. This is a hands-on role that combines safety, support, and meaningful interaction with the persons we serve.

What Youll Do

  • Safely transport individuals served to medical visits, psychological consults, specialized treatments, court appearances, and other assigned off-site locations.
  • Monitor the environment and well-being of individuals served during transport and on-site activities.
  • Observe behaviors and provide verbal de-escalation, redirection, and supportive guidance as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental safety and track concerns related to equipment, systems, and physical structures.
  • Write reports on off-site activities, incidents, and other relevant observations.
  • Communicate routine changes, environmental updates, and activity adjustments to individuals served.
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical team members during emergency responses to ensure safety, including managing disruptive or potentially harmful behaviors.
  • Interact professionally with the public during off-site transport activities while modeling supportive and therapeutic engagement.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Licenses/Certifications

  • Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority or contract (required).
  • Valid state drivers license with a verifiable favorable driving record (required).
  • Academy-trained in safety or security procedures (preferred).
