Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. is seeking skilled Pipe Fitter to work as part of a high-performing team to achieve maximum production efficiency while maintaining strict quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of pipefitting procedures, and the ability to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of marine vessel terminology and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications is required.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork is essential.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to determine pipe layout requirements.
  • Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand tools, power tools, or machines.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to specified shapes and dimensions using appropriate tools.
  • Test installed systems for leaks using approved testing equipment and procedures.
  • Clean, maintain, and flush piping systems and fittings as required.
  • Install brackets, clamps, and hangers to secure piping systems in accordance with specifications.
  • Install piping systems on board vessels safely, productively, and in compliance with all OSHA requirements.
  • Rig piping systems and related equipment following proper safety standards.
  • Inspect completed work, identify potential problems, and initiate corrective actions where needed.
  • Ensure all work procedures and quality standards are followed.
  • Operate as a productive and collaborative team member, helping to achieve daily production goals.
  • Support the development of other team members through mentoring and skills development.
  • Assist in reducing material waste and promoting efficient use of consumables.
  • Maintain care and accountability for assigned tools and equipment.
  • Step up and perform supervisory responsibilities when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure all tools and materials are safely stowed after use.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies regarding attendance, start/end times, and break periods.
