Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ice makers, fountain equipment, and frozen carbonated beverage systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment, identifying the root cause of malfunctions
• Regular inspections are conducted to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of refrigeration systems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of parts used and work performed
• Respond to service calls promptly, provide excellent customer service, and efficiently resolve issues
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete larger projects or complex repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with refrigeration systems

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as this position may require driving a company van to various job sites
• EPA certification and Refrigeration Certification- Ability to maintain, repair, and install various types of refrigeration equipment
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade, such as gauges, meters, torches, and welding equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately. -Previous experience as a refrigeration technician or in a related field, such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
• Ability to climb up to 24' ladder and conduct roof work as required
