Caregiver at British Home for Retired Men and Women – BROOKFIELD, Illinois

Established home care provider seeks experienced caregivers to further strengthen our team! We have been serving Brookfield, IL and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. Increased client demand has us currently looking to expand our team to meet this increased need. You will be expected to effectively engage with your client, prepare meals, provide light housekeeping, laundry, personal care and safety oversight. Our client's depend on us to be competent, available and reliable. Only candidates who can demonstrate physical care skills, emotional maturity, effective communication skills and a heart to serve need apply.

Full time as well as part time positions with opportunities available to work days, PM's and overnights.

Ranging from $16-$18 per hour

Other requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license, reliable access to a car, and active car insurance
• This position requires bending, lifting, pushing, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time; and the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Comfortable with using calendars and email on a computer and smartphone
• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Desire to go above and beyond to support your clients and your organization
