About This Position
Alpert JFS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide executive-level administrative support to the Office of the CEO, with a primary focus on matters related to the Board of Directors. This critical role ensures seamless coordination of board functions, effective communication between leadership and stakeholders, and the maintenance of accurate, confidential, and sensitive records.
The Board Liaison will also provide occasional support to other members of the C-Suite, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of executive operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain official records such as meeting agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for Board and committee meetings.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Serve as custodian of official corporate records and documents.
- Compose, edit, and distribute confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
- Schedule, coordinate, and organize logistics for Executive and Board meetings, including agenda preparation, room setup, and materials distribution.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in and support the agency’s Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) framework and activities.

This is a part time position 20-25 hours per week.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or corporate governance setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals including Board members, donors, and senior leadership.
