Description:

Park Place Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for a dedicated and compassionate PRN Dental Assistant to join our team! Our practice provides pediatric dental and orthodontic care in a warm, welcoming, and kid-friendly environment, focused on helping children feel comfortable while receiving high-quality dental care. As a PRN Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical team in delivering exceptional care to our young patients while helping create a positive and engaging experience for children and families.

Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
  • Take dental X-rays and assist with patient records as needed
  • Provide chairside support including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Must travel between both locations - Arlington and Hurst
  • Dental Assistant experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
  • X-ray certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
