We are currently in our next generation of operations and looking to innovate and streamline in areas to improve our supply chain. Strong communication skills are required for this position as liasion with our business technology and the business they are supporting. SAP experience is a plus. Successful candidates have come from IT Project Management, Business Analysts, Operations Management, for examples.

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 10 years experience supporting or acting as a SME for BT applications, including in depth transactional and cross functional process knowledge preferred.. . Position Purpose:Responsible for supporting Customer Support software solutions enhancements and sustaining activities. A large focus will be supporting new software initiatives while ensuring the integrity of the global template, as well as identifying, scoping and delivering on continuous improvement opportunities. Requires extensive knowledge of lean and project management techniques. Identifies where process improvements can be made, identifies software applicable solutions, creates the business case and works with the business and development team to develop the functional specification.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  1. Applies advanced principles and concepts to initiate assignments by leveraging detailed business knowledge. Ensures that supported applications provide the appropriate functionalities / capabilities to run and / or enhance business processes and deliverables.
  2. Ability to lead and manage large scale projects involving complex multi-disciplinary business processes, including development of budget and timelines, training and testing plans, cutover and Go Live strategy.
  3. Identifies where process improvements can be made and works with BT/ERP and business SMEs to create the business case for each initiative. Responsible for recommending improvements with supported application functionality. Support business SMEs in the development of functional specification to enhance / facilitate the development team effort.
  4. Takes complex business requirements and models them within supported applications. Act as expert on all details regarding critical business processes and associated requirements.
  5. Understands / evaluates the impact of new processes and how to prepare the business for change. Acts as a champion of that change within the business.
  6. Using process mapping, lean six sigma and continuous improvement methods, applies these principles to functional business areas.
  7. Key expert in the reporting needs of the business, has an in depth knowledge / understanding of the reporting tools available and how to apply them (Crystal Reports / Cognos / Power BI etc.) .
Additional Functions:
  1. Leads and coordinates the resolution of complex multidisciplinary process-related break fix / production issues. .
  2. Conducts training and prepares training programs and materials as needed. .
  3. Performs all other duties as assigned. .
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
  1. Completion of appropriate training in Lean manufacturing and project management best practices. PMP and / or Agile certification a plus.
  2. Strong project management experience.
  3. Experience with effectively communicating to senior management and executive leadership.
  4. Software application configuration / authorization management knowledge and experience desired.
  5. Previous experience with Aerospace industry a plus.
A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
