This position is located in Denver Colorado and has a Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
Position Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing the administrative functions that coordinate and ensure the timely shipment of finished goods, manages the receipt and proper documentation of raw materials, and maintains accurate inventory records. The Logistics Coordinator serves as a key link between production, warehouse operations, and customer service, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all logistics processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure orders are accurately picked and packed and alert the team to any discrepancies.
- Process and verify shipping documents including PO, packing list and Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Coordinate with carriers through individual customer portals and provide timely updates to Customer Relations team with order delivery status.
- Source rate quotes and choose the best option based on price, delivery date and MicroCare “best-way” practice.
- Update order lot numbers in ERP system and send accurate Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) for specific customers.
- Continuously update the notification board with scheduled and picked-up shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping team and Customer Relations to ensure accurate prioritization of shipments.
- Scan End of Day (EOD) department paperwork to multiple operations units for their processing; Customer Relations-Invoices, Accounting-Freight Line Documentation, Company SharePoint Uploads, etc.
- Coordinate in-bound Purchase Order shipments with company Buyer, Suppliers, & Shipment BrokersReceive incoming goods and coordinate outgoing internal transfers.
- Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts as needed and update in ERP.
- Process incoming returns and ensure proper disposition of returned inventory.
- Generate a work order for returns and coordinate their transfer to the Quality department at production facility.
- Load and unload trucks as needed with powered forklift.
- Comply with company policies are OSHA safety regulations, maintain neat and safe work areas and report any unsafe conditions or activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Prior Shipping & Receiving operations experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Forklift Experience
- Knowledge of production workflows and processes
- Goal-oriented; able to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure
- Independent problem-solver with a focus on process improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, keeping partnering departments updated as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Coordinator experience with a strong administrative focus
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience with an ERP, UPS/Fed-EX shipping software
- Strong professional phone and email communication presence
- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment, including standup and sit-down forklifts
- Proven ability to work independently
- Must have strong math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Must be able to read, write and speak English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience within a chemical blend and package environment
- ERP system in Chempax and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Haz Mat rules and regulations
- Familiar with DOT and IATA shipping regulations
- Secondary education, certifications or trade school
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Frequent sitting and keyboard use/repetitive hand motion
- Lifting required of up to 70lbs unassisted and over 70lbs with lifting aides
- Continuous reaching/working overhead
- Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items
- Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations
