Registered Nurse - Clinic at Citizens Memorial – Stockton, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or a Certified MEdical Assistant to join our team at the Stockton Family Medical Center located in Stockton, MO! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the Department: Stockton Family Medical Center provides health care for patients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries, and ailments.

A typical day includes: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists.

• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures

• Administer immunizations and injections

• Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, specimen collection, and basic lab testing

• Provide patient education related to medications, treatments, and preventive care

• Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

• Respond to patient phone calls and messages as directed

• Coordinate labs, referrals, and follow-up care

• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow infection-control protocols

Job Requirements:

Education:

• RN: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; active RN license in Missouri

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; active LPN license in Missouri

• CMA: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; current CMA certification preferred/required

Experience: minimum of 1 year of clinic experience

Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking

Licensure/Certification: Active RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri or Active Certified Medical Assistant

Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is Full Time, days 8:30am-5pm.
