POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified Scale Operator to join our team! The position includes:
- Weighing customer trucks as they enter / exit the facility and issuing proof of purchase
- Collecting payment and working with internal and external customers
- Notifying operations of an incoming customer via a 2-way radio for proper dispatch
- Answering the telephone and provide general information to callers
- Operating and maintaining computerized scale system which includes opening of scales, updating and maintenance of truck, customer and product information in computer
This is a full-time seasonal, year-round benefits eligible position, working April/May through November. This position requires working overtime.

Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to follow safety rules, policies and procedures
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
