Consejo Counseling and Referral Service is looking to hire a Part-time Rural Behavioral Health Therapist.

Summary of Job Description:
The Rural Behavioral Health Therapist provides direct clinical services on the mobile van, including behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention. This role is critical to delivering timely, accessible treatment to rural residents who may otherwise face significant barriers to care. The therapist works closely with case managers and other team members to ensure coordinated, client-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site behavioral health assessments, screenings, and intake services in rural community settings
- Deliver individual and group counseling and crisis intervention services directly from the mobile van
- Ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically appropriate, and responsive to rural community needs.
- Collaborate with case managers to support care coordination, referrals, and continuity of services
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in Credible EHR in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Support referrals to higher levels of care or ancillary services as clinically indicated.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and program development activities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active Washington State license (e.g., LMHCA, LMFT(A), LICSW, or equivalent)
- Experience providing behavioral health services in community-based or rural settings preferred.
- Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and clinical documentation skills.
- Commitment to health equity, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice.
WORK SCHEDULE
This Part-time in-person position works Monday to Friday.
SALARY RANGE
$ 27.00 to $ 38.46 an hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and credentials.
