About This Position
The Kwikship Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse floor operations and supporting consistent execution across inventory handling, receiving, warehouse organization, order flow, and shipping readiness. This role helps translate operational goals into daily action by leading frontline warehouse activity, reinforcing standards, and ensuring the team is aligned and productive.
This position works closely with the Operations Manager to maintain workflow discipline, support team leads, solve operational issues, and ensure the warehouse remains organized, efficient, and service-focused.
Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Floor Management
· Oversee day-to-day warehouse floor activity, including receiving, put-away, storage organization, picking support, replenishment, and shipment preparation.
· Monitor workflow and labor allocation to help ensure daily priorities are completed accurately and on time.
· Help manage warehouse space, product flow, and physical organization to support efficiency and safe operations.
· Address workflow interruptions, errors, and operational concerns in real time.
Leadership & Team Support
· Supervise team leads, the shipping and receiving clerk, and warehouse staff while reinforcing expectations for attendance, productivity, safety, and quality.
· Provide hands-on leadership, direction, coaching, and follow-up during daily operations.
· Assist in training new team members and supporting cross-training efforts across warehouse functions.
· Escalate performance concerns, staffing needs, and process issues appropriately.
Inventory & Accuracy
· Support inventory integrity by promoting accurate receiving, storage, movement, and order handling processes.
· Assist with cycle counts, inventory investigations, product tracking, and discrepancy resolution.
· Help maintain proper labeling, location control, and stock organization throughout the facility.
· Partner with leadership to reduce avoidable errors and improve process consistency.
Safety, Standards & Continuous Improvement
· Reinforce warehouse safety expectations and good housekeeping practices throughout the operation.
· Help maintain equipment awareness, clear aisles, clean work areas, and organized product storage.
· Participate in process improvement discussions and support implementation of improved workflows.
· Promote a steady, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:· 3+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or logistics experience.
· 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or operations environment preferred.
· Strong understanding of warehouse workflow, material movement, and team coordination.
· Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and maintain strong follow-through in a fast-paced setting.
· Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Preferred:· Experience in eCommerce fulfillment, inventory control, or high-volume shipping environments.
· Experience operating warehouse equipment or supporting warehouse management systems.
· Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
