Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. This role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with behavioral health technicians and support staff. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Nevada and passionate about mental health advocacy and community-based care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth or in person
  • Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and behavioral health technicians (QBAs)
  • Supervise and review documentation of neurofeedback sessions, as applicable
  • Complete timely documentation in the EHR system
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Active Nevada Psychiatric/mental health certification (PMHNP)
  • DEA license with schedule II-V prescribing authority
  • Medicaid and Medicare credentialed (or willingness to enroll)
  • Experience in psychiatric diagnosis and medication management
  • Comfortable working independently and supervising technicians
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
