We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who is dual certified as a CNA/CHHA to join our team at Applewood Village. In this role, you will be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our residents.

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of compassionate professionals who share a passion for providing high-quality care across Skilled Nursing/Sub-Acute, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the delivery of care to Residents in a compassionate and timely manner under the direction of the Nurse Team Leader or designee.
• Administer routine daily medications, both prescription and non-prescription.
• Observe Residents and report/document changes in their condition.
• Sign medication records and re-order medications according to policy and procedure.
• Provide first aid in emergency situations and report the condition to the Nurse Team Leader and/or physician; complete incident reports as needed.
• Assist Residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and encourage appropriate self-care, utilizing the concept of restorative nursing.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Infection Control and safety regulations.
• Leads by example, maintaining a professional work relationship with team members, Residents, Clients, Members, Patients, and family members.

Requirements:

• NJ State CMA certification.
• NJ State CNA/CHHA certification.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Strong clinical skills.

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Shift Availability: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Pay: 25.00 per hour + Shift Differential
