We are seeking talented, dedicated, and enthusiastic professionals to join our team and contribute to the success of this exciting new venture.
As a Prep Cook, you will play a foundational role in supporting the culinary team by preparing ingredients and ensuring kitchen readiness. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about supporting a high-caliber kitchen in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Ingredient Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients according to prep lists and recipes
Support the Line: Ensure all stations are fully stocked with prepared ingredients prior to and during service
Knife Skills: Execute precise cuts and measurements to maintain consistency and meet presentation standards
Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized prep station and walk-in storage areas
Labeling & Storage: Properly label and store all prepped items to ensure food safety and minimize waste
Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers to ensure smooth back-of-house operations
Sanitation & Safety: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to uphold a clean and safe environment
Efficiency: Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed during peak periods or slower shifts
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of food prep techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards
Ability to take direction and work as part of a high-performing team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required
Flexibility to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Competitive hourly pay ($18–$21/hr)
