Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and oversee the housekeeping team. This position will ensure that our hotel and spa facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, contributing to an exceptional guest experience while upholding our sustainability practices.

Job Description:

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at Cascada Thermal Springs, Spa and Hotel, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including supervising and training the housekeeping team. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and spa facilities are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our housekeeping services, maintaining inventory, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all rooms, public spaces, and spa facilities are cleaned and organized to hotel standards.

· Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff, ensuring proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines are followed.

· Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality, ensuring attention to detail and high standards are maintained.

· Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, guest services, and Wellness to address any guest concerns or special requests.

· Monitor and support sustainability efforts by using cleaning products efficiently, promoting waste reduction, and implementing recycling practices.

· Prepare reports on housekeeping operations and address any operational issues or staffing needs in a timely manner.

· Ensure staff adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.

Requirements:

Requirements:

· Bilingual Spanish preferred

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping supervisory role, (2+ years preferred).

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with guests and staff.

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
