JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

Non-Exempt Position

REPORTS TO: Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor/Plant Manager

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provide production materials required to maintain daily productivity.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pull production units/parts as required for WO.

• Make required inventory transactions.

• Maintain accurate and organized inventory within the warehouse.

• Maintain order and neatness in the warehouse.

• Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic communication and computer skills.

• Previous experience with reach trucks and fork lift operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Conduct all interactions with customers, vendors, field sales representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous and respectful manner.

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

• Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish effectiveness of the company.
