Salary: $75,000 +based on experience

Vail Communities is seeking a strategic and highly organized Sr. Manager of Administration to strengthen the operational backbone of our organization.

This role is supervised by the Senior Director of Administration and Compliance and is responsible for ensuring that administrative infrastructure, information systems, and technology platforms actively support compliance, accountability, and organizational growth.

What You’ll Do:

The Sr. Manager of Administration supports enterprise-wide administrative operations, information systems oversight, and technology alignment to ensure:

  • Regulatory compliance
  • System integrity and security
  • Administrative and Compliance efficiency
  • Clear documentation and internal controls
  • Scalable infrastructure to support growth

This is a cross-functional role that partners across departments to ensure that systems, processes, and compliance requirements are aligned and function effectively.

Information Systems & Technology Compliance (Core Focus)

This role is responsible for ensuring that technology and information systems actively protect the organization and support compliance.

  • Oversee system security, cybersecurity monitoring, and risk mitigation
  • Maintain oversight of access controls, user permissions, and data governance practices
  • Serve as primary liaison with IT vendors and manage service coordination
  • Evaluate and strengthen technology infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce risk
  • Ensure platforms support compliance requirements, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness
  • Partner with leadership to identify technology gaps that may create compliance exposure
  • Support staff training and system adoption to ensure proper use and accountability
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, protocols, and safeguards

This position ensures that technology is not just operational — but compliant, secure, and strategically aligned.

Administrative Leadership

  • Strengthen and standardize internal processes, workflows, and documentation systems
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and vendor coordination
  • Support onboarding and offboarding logistics in partnership with HR
  • Contribute to administrative and IT budget planning
  • Maintain organized records and scalable operational infrastructure

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s in information systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience managing internal information systems, technology vendors, or IT operations
  • Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or other regulated environment strongly preferred
  • Preferred certifications in Microsoft 365 or Azure Administration
