Housekeeper at TFE Properties LLC – Lakewood, New Jersey

The Hilton Garden Inn of Lakewood is seeking candidates for the position of Housekeeper to join our award-winning team.

The role of Housekeeper is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests while maintaining company standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning duties such as replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, vacuuming, making beds, etc.

· Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check out

· Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy

· Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

· Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

· Collect and remove trash and debris

· Perform detailed deep cleans when required

· Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses

· Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items

· Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met

Compensation and Benefits include:

• This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $15.92 to $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Qualifications & Skills

· Able to stand, squat, kneel, bend and be on their feet for long periods of time

· Able to lift no less than 20lbs and push/pull no less than 50lbs

· Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Knowledge of efficient cleaning techniques and specialized products

· Excellent Communication skills

· Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays
