Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Lead Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the property and providing superior customer service to all residents.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Lead Engineer is responsible for performing various tasks including split system heat pump repairs, building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cleaning and other duties as assigned. The range for this position is $30.00 to $36.00 an hour and is based on experience. This is a non-exempt position that will be compensated for overtime.
*Attendance is essential to this position. The community is open 24/7, weekend work or overnight hours may be expected.
WHAT YOU BRING
You will need five or more years of engineering experience with strong customer service skills and a high school diploma. You must be able to lift (60 lbs.) and safely move appliances, comfortable working with heights up to 25 feet, and experience in multifamily or hospitality environments preferred, but not required.

The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of The Residential Division's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, incentive plans and more.
