This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced IT security expertise across enterprise systems, ensuring the protection, compliance, and resilience of critical infrastructure. You will lead security assessments for cloud and on-premises applications, implement security solutions, and maintain existing tools and controls. This position requires close collaboration with IT project teams, governance functions, and operational groups to balance risk management with business enablement. Ideal candidates bring deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience with security platforms, and a proactive mindset to address emerging threats. The role also includes opportunities to improve processes, mentor team members, and contribute to the evolution of security practices in a global IT environment. Flexibility for remote work is offered, with occasional on-site meetings as required.
- Conduct technical security reviews for IT projects and new applications (cloud and on-premises)
- Implement, configure, and maintain security tools, including SIEM, XDR/EDR, PAM, IAM, and secure web gateways
- Support governance and compliance activities, such as security baselines, change reviews, and policy enforcement
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks through process improvements and solution enhancements
- Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to IT teams, ensuring secure design and operational integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to balance security, business needs, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT security experience across diverse roles
- Expertise in cloud security configuration (e.g., GCP, Azure) and security architecture principles
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), XDR/EDR platforms, PAM (CyberArk, BeyondTrust), IAM systems (AD, Entra, Okta), secure DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform), and generative AI security guardrails
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- CISSP certification preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across global teams
