Carnitas Assistant at Talpa Supermercados – Lilburn, Georgia

The Carnitas Shop Assistant supports daily kitchen and customer-service operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customers receive high-quality products and friendly service.

• Assist in the preparation of carnitas, including cutting, seasoning, and organizing ingredients.
• Support the cooking process by monitoring temperatures, handling equipment safely and following instructions.
• Serve customers, take orders, and package carnitas and other menu items.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and customer-facing areas.
• Restock ingredients, tortillas, containers, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Help with opening and closing tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and equipment checks.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service during busy periods.

• Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tasks.
• Avility to lift + 50 lb.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen work is a plus.
