PURPOSE
The Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations by leading and mentoring staff, providing training, and maintaining high standards of service. This role involves overseeing cash handling, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The Supervisor manages scheduling, performance evaluations, and offers constructive feedback, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff Knowledge & Training: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of positions, policies, and procedures.
- Floor Leadership: Spend the majority of the shift on the floor, observing, mentoring, delegating tasks, and coaching team members.
- Cash Handling: Monitor Team Member adherence to accurate cash handling procedures.
- Guest Communication: Address and respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly, following department guidelines.
- Internal Communication: Maintain communication with Team Members and Management through memos, bulletin boards, shift reports, and staff meetings.
- Staff Training: Conduct team training, and certifications, including up-selling techniques.
- Scheduling & Performance: Complete scheduling, performance management, and evaluations.
- Counseling & Development: Provide constructive feedback and coaching on a fair, consistent, and impartial basis.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to department policies on confidentiality, alcohol handling, POS transactions, cash handling, sales, labor reporting, and incident tracking.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Two (2) years of Barista experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership & Staff Development: Strong leadership skills to mentor, train, and motivate Team Members, ensuring they meet performance standards and company policies.
- Guest Service & Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and internal communication effectively.
- Cash Handling & Financial Oversight: Proficient in monitoring cash handling procedures and overseeing sales and labor reporting for accuracy.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to efficiently manage scheduling, staff performance, and daily operations to ensure smooth service.
- Coaching & Conflict Resolution: Ability to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Policy Adherence: Strong understanding and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience:
- One (1) year of experience leading others in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience in a high-volume a la carte venue.
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MICROS.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
