About This Position
Registrar (Celebrate Smiles Registrar)
Access’ Celebrate Smiles program works to prevent tooth decay and educate children about good oral health. This program brings licensed dental staff to local schools screening children in grades 4k-8. We provide dental sealants, fluoride varnish, as well as dental cleaning and restorative treatment as needed. Children in the program become Access dental patients and can receive ongoing care at an Access dental clinic.
As the Celebrate Smiles Registrar, you are the first point of contact for families and school staff. This is a specialized registrar role that handles patient registration, scheduling and record keeping for our Celebrate Smiles program. Registrars will accurately schedule patients, enter and update patient demographics and insurance information, route messages to clinic staff and support interdepartmental workflows
This role requires daily travel to Madison and Sun Prairie schools and will be discussed in the final stages of the interview process.
Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience using a personal computer with strong keyboarding and typing skillsA minimum of one year of customer service, telephone, or reception experienceExperience in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking.Travel: Must have the ability to travel daily to various school locations within the Madison and Sun Prairie School DistrictsAbility to transport administrative supplies to and from school locationsFrequent sitting, standing and movement within a school building environment.Desired Qualifications:
Fluency in English and SpanishExperience with EPIC or other electronic health record (EHR) systemsCompensation and Benefits:
Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week:
Compensation starts at $20.00 and may be adjusted according to experience.
