About the Role

We are hiring a high-performing Culver’s Owner / Operator (Mentee) to lead daily operations and help drive the continued success of one of the Top 50 Culver’s restaurants nationwide. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Culver’s leader to step into an ownership-track role with significant influence, autonomy, and long-term growth potential.

You will oversee operations, develop leaders, elevate guest experience, and play a key role in the construction and launch of two additional Culver’s locations currently in development.

Requirements:

Culver’s Owner / Operator (Mentee) – Leadership Opportunity

Location: Manhattan, KS (Restaurant #955)
Compensation: $70,000 annually (before operator profit sharing)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Open availability required

What You’ll Do

Restaurant Operations & Leadership

  • Lead all daily operations including staffing, production, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Culver’s brand standards and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Team Development & Culture Building

  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor team members at all levels.
  • Build a culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, and hospitality.
  • Develop future leaders and maintain a high-performing, motivated team.

Financial & Business Management

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and cost controls.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, waste reduction, and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Guest Experience & Community Engagement

  • Ensure every guest leaves happy — every visit, every time.
  • Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency.
  • Represent the restaurant with integrity in the community and with brand partners.

Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Enforce health, safety, and food quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Uphold Culver’s values of truth, trust, transparency, and hospitality.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of full-time, adult leadership experience at Culver’s (Manager, AGM, GM, Mentee, or Operator).
  • Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Experience in food production, quality assurance, and hospitality management.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field recommended.
  • Master’s degree a big plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and a passion for accountability.
  • Must “Bleed Blue” — fully committed to Culver’s culture and standards.

Additional Requirements

  • National food safety certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
  • Ability to work any shift between 6 AM – Midnight, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Spanish speaking/writing equals a 15% salary increase to start.
